                        The noun

Definition:- 

                   A noun is the name of person place animal or things.

For example:- Ramesh Mohan Kolkata chair.

                           Types of Noun

Five types are Noun:-

1 ABSTRACT NOUN (भाववाचक)

A noun that refer to a things that does not exist as a material object.

Action:- (कार्य) Behaviour, movement, Activity etc.

Quality:- (गुण) Honesty, Wisdom, humility, etc.

State:- (दशा) freedom, childhood etc.

2 COMMON NOUN (जाति वाचक)

Class of person place or thing.

Boy,Man, Women ,King, Queen,River,snake, Book etc.

3 PROPER NOUN (व्यक्ति वाचक)

Name of person place or thing.

HIMALAYA, Tajmahal, Ganga, Mahatma Gandhi etc.

4 COLLECTIVE NOUN (समूह वाचक)

Group of person place or things.

Crowd,Gang,Teem, Army, Class, galaxy etc.

5 MATERIAL NOUN (पदार्थ वाचक)

Material noun denotes the name of a material.

Gold, Silver, Stone,Water, Milk, Copper,Iron etc.

Other Nouns:- 

Countable noun, Uncountable noun, Singular Noun Plural Noun etc.
