आज इस Article में, हम जानेंगे की gender क्या है? gender कितने प्रकार के होते हैं? और gender की पहचान करना सीखेंगें।

                           Gender?

 Definition- 

             The words which tell us about the sex of a noun are called genders .like:- brother-sister, father- mother etc.

Types of Gender

1).Masculine gender

2).Feminine gender

3).Common gender

4).Neuter gender

1).Masculine gender –

                  the words which refer to male nouns are called masculine gender, such as:- Lion,Husband,Cock,Man etc.

Examples :-

• Lion is a wild animal.
• Is This hero is your favorite
• Feminine gender –

            the words which refer to female nouns are called feminine gender such as:-Lioness,Wife, Hen etc.

3).Common gender - 

             the words that refer to both male and female nouns are called common gender such as:-Guest,Friend,Servant etc.

Examples:-

• We are the best friends in our group.
• You cousin came yesterday to my home.
• Workers are on strike for two days.

In the above sentences friends, cousin and workers are the examples of common genders.

4).Neuter gender- 

                the words which refer neither male noun nor female noun are called neuter gender such as:- book, fan, chair etc.

Examples:-

• I need black pen to write a letter.
• My college is 10 k.m far from my home.
